Frida Kahlo was one of Mexico’s main art creators and exhibitors from the 20th century. Her tragic life, beginning with a childhood poliomyelitis and a bus accident at the age of 18, led her to carry out a deeply personal work where the surgeries to which she was subjected, the deep physical pains and the use of orthopedic devices, they were a constant in her work.
