English as a Second Language Classe

Join us for ESL classes on Monday and Wednesdays from 6-7pm.

Let's learn English!

English classes prepare students to be fully engaged with their communities.  Families benefit when students become proficient in English, enabling them to participate in educational and social lives.  Language acquisition increases opportunities for education, employment and financial stability for participants.

Course Description

ESL Beginning - Students with limited understanding of English develop listening comprehension, reading, speaking and simple conversation skills needed to function in day-to-day adult situations.

ESL Advanced Beginning/Intermediate - The emphasis is on developing greater fluency and oral communication as well as reading and writing skills.  The focus also includes listening, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary development.

ESL Conversation - Expand oral language skills and refine reading and writing skills.  The emphasis is on conversation.
